Shanglife, as a creative provider, had played a significant role in the success of the 2023 Overseas Goods Festival, which took place from September 30th to October 3rd in Shenzhen’s Upper Hill.
This event, hosted by the Shenzhen International Investment Promotion Federation and generously supported by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Shenyeye Commercial Management Co., marks the beginning of a new chapter in Shenzhen’s shopping season series.
The festival was a vibrant, international “shopping extravaganza” that garnered enthusiasm during this year’s National Day holiday. Over 40 overseas brands from countries such as France, Australia, Spain, Italy, the United States, and Sri Lanka, filled their booths with exquisite delicacies, wines, coffee, beauty products, home goods, and more.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore iconic spots and booths within the event venue, take photos for social media sharing, and even win exciting prizes through a check-in challenge. Check-ins became a hot topic among visitors, fostering active participation and infusing the joy of shopping with interactive fun.
The Shenzhen Shopping Season, a key initiative organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, has gradually become one of the city’s signature consumer market events, thanks to the coordination of major shopping districts, malls, businesses, and merchants. The “Overseas Goods Festival” is being held for the first time this year and will continue as part of the Shenzhen Shopping Season series.
According to the organizers at Shenzhen International Investment Promotion Federation, this event received substantial support from the Shenzhen Economic and Trade Office in Europe.
During the brand recruitment phase, meticulous planning and collaboration spanning over two months led to the successful participation of nearly 30 European brands in the Shenzhen Shopping Season. These brands encompass fashion, beauty, home goods, food, and more, including renowned French kitchenware brand OPINEL, the famous Spanish wine brand El Coto, and top French maternity and baby brand DOUCEA.
